7 Days, 7 Ways: The Boyfriend Sweater, Part 3
☆ Beanie - Neff ☆ Sweater - Forever 21 ☆ Scarf - Paris ☆ Shirt - Peek ☆ Jeans - Zara ☆ Loafers - My Mom's Closet ☆
Somedays, when I feel like tapping into my inner Parisian, I feel the need to throw on a scarf and loafers and call it a day. As Leonardo da Vinci once said, "Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication." By taking simple clothes and putting them all together, I have created a look that I would absolutely wear anytime or any place. The sweater matches the shoes and the hat and therefore fits right in. More to come! xx

7 Days, 7 Ways: The Boyfriend Sweater, Part 2
☆ Sweater - Forever 21 ☆ Tee - Peek ☆ Jeans - J Brand ☆ Shoes - Jeffrey Campbell ☆
Honestly, I don't know what I would do without black. This all black outfit is so simple, yet because I'm wearing slightly different shades mixed with layering, it doesn't come across as boring. The sweater provides a more polished look, channeling my style goddesses, the Olsen twins! This is one of my go-to looks for school because I can easily put it on in the morning and I know that I'll be satisfied with my look during the day. xx

7 Days, 7 Ways: The Boyfriend Sweater, Part 1
☆ Sweater - Forever 21 ☆ Overalls - Forever 21 ☆ Shirt - ASOS ☆ Hat - Supreme ☆ Shoes - My Mom's Closet ☆
I'm a big fan of investing in basics because they can be worn over and over again, yet still create stylish looks! This week, I have chosen to showcase one of my favorite pieces of clothing: the boyfriend sweater. Over the next several posts, I will show you seven different ways to incorporate the boyfriend sweater into your weekly repertoire. I picked up this particular chunky knit from Forever 21, and I love it because it keeps me warm, while giving me a more completed look. xx

Layered Look
☆ Sweater - Zara ☆ Plaid Shirt - CP Shades ☆ Pants - Aritzia ☆ Boots - Paris ☆
Even though we don't have true winter here in California, it's always nice when the weather starts to become cold and crisp. I always feel most comfortable wearing a sweater in this type of weather and staying warm with layers. This look for me, is ideal, because I have my sweater, and a cool plaid to throw on top. My suede, buckled boots complement the turtleneck nicely and the zippered pants blend in well. An easy way to recreate this look is to grab a warm sweater from your closet, tie any blouse around your waist, throw on some slouchy boots, a versatile pair of pants and you're good to go. xx

Grey Matters
☆ Sweater - Gap ☆ Skirt - Zara ☆ Knee Socks - Madewell ☆ Shoes - Jeffrey Campbell ☆
You can never go wrong with the classic schoolgirl look: a pleated skirt and knee socks. But, as winter is approaching us, I can't just wear the schoolgirl look with a white tee. So, I think it's fun to wear a chunky knit with it and add some cool boots too! xx

Bubble Up
☆ Vest - Zara ☆ Sweater - The Runaway Outlet ☆ Shirt - Uniqlo ☆ Pants - Black Orchid ☆ Shoes - Clarks ☆
In my opinion, bubble vests are a wardrobe must have. They are chic, yet practical in that they keep you warm! My favorite ones are from J Crew and Zara, but below I listed a couple more that I also think are fab if you're interested! Honestly, I just throw my bubble vest on and immediately, I have a more put together look. The bubble vest is a great layering piece because you can wear sweaters, tees, or button down shirts underneath it and look positively chic. xx
